Pictures!

I took Emrick to have pictures taken for her 2nd birthday. I told the photographer that I really really wanted a good picture of my kids together. Guess what the photographer couldn't give me because Jacob was a wild wiggle person? We got a few pictures of the two of them that were 'OK' but none that were awesome. So, thanks Jacob, for that... I will have the pictures at Emrick's birthday party on Saturday for everyone to take.

We played outside in the puddles then the kids decided to bathe themselves in the bathroom sink! It was a good time. Today we went to Hy-Vee for breakfast then to Jacob's soccer practice. When we came home the kids took a nap and Burger and I cleaned out the cars and he took them to the car wash. Later tonight my parents are coming over to watch the kids while Burger and I go to dinner and a hockey game. Yay!

Snowman!

Burger built a snowman with the kids. They thought it was really fun! The face is made out of heart candy. When they came in Burger made hot chocolate and the kids drank theirs with straws. Silly kids!

More Snow Days!

Snow day number 3 for Jacob. I don't mind too much, but it is kind of getting old! Mostly we're bored. Watching way too much TV. Today we made paper crowns because Jacob said that Emrick looks like a princess in her dress. What a nice brother!

Snow Day!

Jacob is home from preschool today because of the weather. I am hoping he is home tomorrow, too. We have been hanging out, watching TV, and eating junk food all day! Really fun.

Emrick went to her room to get a new diaper and came running back to me when she tripped over her feet and whacked her forehead right on the edge of coffee table. Poor baby! The bonk is huge and bruised and nasty looking. Hoping it heals quickly because I need to schedule her 2 year old pictures.

Saturday is Jacob's half birthday. He is taking How to Train Your Dragon cupcakes to school on Friday to celebrate. And fruit snacks to share with his friends. He is really excited, but also pretty sure he is turning 5 1/2. I keep telling him that he will turn 5 in August and that he is turning 4 1/2 right now. A 1/2 year close to turning 5! But that doesn't sound like fun to him.

I absolutely love Netflix. We watch it way too much. Right now the kids are watching Word World and love it! I am watching The Secret Life of an American Teenager, a series on ABC Family. It's fun to watch whole series on Netflix, no commercials!
