Spring Break!

We went to the zoo in Omaha last weekend and had a great time. We stayed in a hotel for two nights and hung out and swam. Jacob and Emrick had a great time, and so did we. Grandma and Grandpa Hild stayed in the room right next to us! Jacob learned to play Uno! We ate tons of junk food and enjoyed every second of it! The dogs got to stay with Grandpa Oldenburger at the farm!

Our computer hasn't been working right. We have been looking at desk top computers, instead of a laptop. Burger ordered more RAM last night and says that it should fix the laptop. I believe him, I guess. We are still planning on buying a desk top computer, any suggestions?

So Crazy

Burger came home Friday afternoon. After scoring a 96 on his state test! In May he will take a test to pass the apprenticeship and then he will be a journeyman! I'm so happy and thankful that he likes what he does and can be happy and excited to go to his job.

Emrick's second birthday was on Saturday! We had her party at Pizza Ranch where everyone ate some pizza and bread sticks. Megan made an awesome Elmo cake For the party. It was a great time. Even though it all went so fast! Emrick got lots of really super fun gifts and her and Jacob have been playing with them together fairly nicely!

Jacob started soccer the Saturday before last. He says he likes it but all he does is run like a crazy person and not listen to any of the coaches. He has never been one to really excel in sports because he has a hard time focusing and remembering the rules. I'm pretty sure it's typical for his age because most of the kids run around or stare at the coaches like crazies. Anyhow, I want him to try lots of different things and maybe find one that he can be great at! So I researched a few karate places around here and he tried a class out last night. At first he said he didn't like it, but then he said he was tricking me and that he does like it after all. In any case I am planning to sign him up, officially, today. Classes are Tuesday and Saturday and I think this will be really good for him!

Speaking of really good for him, we had school conferences last night! So, not news to us, but Jacob is doing very well in school. He started out on the lower end and is now almost 100% scores. His teacher said he will undoubtedly be scoring 100% perfect in every single thing before the end of the year. I know it's just preschool, but still, I can brag! He will go to kindergarten next year and hopefully do just as well!
