Yes, I know that it's May 2 and I missed my very first day of posting pictures in May. But, to be fair, I was a little busy yesterday. Emrick fell and shredded the inside of her bottom lip and then the kids decided that they NEEDED to see Grandpa and Grandma Hild. Alone. Bye Mom and Dad! Jacob told us we could go do whatever we wanted because we're grown ups. Just as long as we go. So we went, and Burger decided that we needed to clean out the garage. Because when else will we have time to do it? Ugh...
Anyhow, the picture is of us playing Chutes and Ladders. Jacob got it for Easter and LOVES it. It was fun, for the first ten minutes. That is a really long game! You get to go up the ladders and you get all hopeful that you're going to make it! Win! Fun! Yay! But then you roll a three and have to slide all the way down the big slide to the bottom row. And fifteen minutes later you're still doing the same thing. Emrick doesn't play because she thinks it's boring, but she likes to steal the people. Burger finally (don't tell anyone!) cheated just a little tiny bit so that the game could finally be over...
