Grandma and Grandpa Hild came yesterday for dinner and played in the water table. Jacob had the time of his life. Grandpa is his best friend. At the end, they were both soaking wet and so ready to eat spaghetti! I love the fact that my parents can enjoy my kids this much! That is true happiness. To see the eyes of a child in love with a grandparent. It's amazing to see what my parents will do with him. A lot of times I'm thinking, they never did this when I was a kid! But that's OK, because to see how happy they make my son is totally worth it!
