Chuck E. Cheese

We went to Chuck E. Cheese last night! That is officially Jake's favorite place ever! He didn't even mind all the noise and craziness wich surprised me! We got there at about 6 p.m. and didnt get home until after 9 p.m. And all of you that know Jake very well know that he goes to bed at 7:30 p.m. always, but he wasnt even tired, he just wanted to go and go... so we let him! They must put something "special" in their pizza at Chuck E. Cheese's! Just teasing... Burger played enough skee ball to win Jake a little squishy ball that says Chuck E. Cheese on it, so we will always have a keepsake! Today Jake has a doctor appointment at noon, so I will be sure to keep everyone updated! Have a good one! :)

This is an old picture of Jake, from the first time it snowed. Like, back in November! But, we went and played in the snow today so I wanted to post this pic. We used his sled that he got from great aunt Lisa for Christmas and went for a walk around the court. Jake was a little nervous to fall out, but he enjoyed it in the end! We got kind of stir crazy today because of the weather, but we found plenty of ways to keep busy. We made cookies and kool-aide to drink, yum yum! Then we went to Mcdonald's for supper- we are being total health nuts today, can you tell? Anyhow, just wanted to share his snow picture with everyone! hope you enjoy the weather like we have!

no pictures to post today. But we did get Jake's pictures done and are trying to get those out to everyone who needs them! I took his pictures myself and am very proud of how they turned out! I have been on a mission to find Jake a pair jean overall bibs, and I can't find any anywhere! Just plain jean overalls... who would think they would be so hard to find! I looked at Old Navy, Target, Wal-mart, K-mart, and finally at Younkers! This is over the course of about a week and finally today I found a pair. I don't love them, but they are good enough! So right now we are at Grandma Hild's and she is fixing these overall's and I feel like I should be helping, but how do you help someone sew pockets shut?

Today!

This is my goofy boy! He is so entertaining! I love this age with kids! He can actually talk to me and tell me what he's thinking! It's great! Jake loves to wear hats, especially if they belong to Burger! And in the top picture he's just coppin' some attitude... you'll have that with little 1.5 year old boys. It amazes me how much he is just his own little person with his own mind and style. He knows what he wants and he does it. Jake is so totally a mixtuer of Burger and me. The super attitude and creativeness, the stubborness and definately the anger issues. I look at him all the time in amazement (how else would you look at him?) He likes to stack his leggos by color and stack his race cars on top of each other to see how tall he can make it. He loves to eat chips and chip dip and his favorite is any kind of sucker. He loves to watch Clifford on the Tv, and bring me dvds and says "Let's watch." He loves his tennis shoes, but not his crocs ($30 out the window, eh...) and he loves his race cars and anything from the movie Cars. He is all boy. 100% boy running around and climbing on my 24/7 and I couldn't love anything more in this world! He also loves to dress up and his favorite is his bath robe that grandma hild gave him! He spins like a little girl in a party dress with this look of pride. He is so amazing.

And the days go on...

Hey! It's been awhile since I posted... but I'm trying! Keeping up with Jake is rough, and Burger has been working overtime at his new job. I went to my interview today and have the job if I'd like it, basically. It's the same exact job that I already have, only at the rec center instead of the YMCA. I'm thinking about it, and the possibilty of working at both places. I can't decide, so if anyone has any opinions... I'll try to get some more pics of jacob on later. That is our dog, Max and the other one is Burger playing with my new mixer I got for Christmas. hehehe...

Christmas PIctures

These are Jacob on Christmas morning! He thought that it was a riding mower! And when he opened his hotwheel racecars from Santa he was ecstatic! After we opened Santa toys we went to my grandma's house, Jacob's great grandma and opened presents with everyone there! We had a great Christmas and because Jake is the only child in my family he is spoiled rotten! well, Happy New Year everyone! Hope you get a great start to 2008!
